Brian hails from a family of artists. Growing up, he was introduced to a myriad of art mediums and by the age of 14 he'd chosen to express himself artistically through photography.
"Photography was the one medium that truly allowed me to capture not only the beauty in my subject but the individuality, emotion, and spirit as well."
Over the years Brian has fine tuned his skills as a photographer and has even received professional accreditation from the New York Institute of Photography. Believing the age old philosophy rings true that "a picture should speak a thousand words", Brian prefers to shoot using a photojournalism style of photography.
While Brian still enjoys shooting film and developing his own images he has drifted seamlessly into the digital world which allows him to do more than ever before with his art. One of his passions in photography is shooting fine art scenery and elements of nature. In an effort to hone and broaden his skills he is now attempting to master medium and large view film photography that idol Ansel Adams mastered so long ago.
